We came across these fake glasses I used to wear. I'm a nerd, I know...but my kids had a fun time wearing them.
Gingerbread House Decorating:
Since Ben is preparing to take the GRE, he has had a few days off, so we took advantage and made a gingerbread house on Friday. Growing up, my mom would always make homemade gingerbread for the house. Oh my goodness...that must have been a LOT of work! I decided to go with the kit from Target. Just assembly and decoration tuckered me out and I was ready for a nap afterwards! Just another thing that makes me appreciate my mom a little more now that I am a mom.

Wow, you've been really good atposting lately. I need to be better. Your gingerbread house turned out so cute! I love that Maddie is a swim suite model! Little kids are so funny. I remember modeling everything when I was little! And if I'm not mistaken... I have seen a few of your own ameture modeling pictures on facebook :)
Maddie's got some good Swim suit pictures doesn't she! I got your Christmas card today and of course it was Adorable! The card, the picture and letter... it was all fabulous, it make me embarrassed to send our walmart card out. Good Job!:)

Cute glasses, cute kids, cute gingerbread house, cute Cindy! I love the swimsuit picture. I have one when I was the same age as Maddie, except I think I was three or four times her size :), so while the swimsuit I was wearing was for the average sized four year old, it didn't come too far above my belly button, but it did have these little spaghetti straps that were in just the "right" places. Now its a blackmail picture and every time I see it I burst out laughing/want to hide... great memory.
Those glasses brought back such good memories! I remember when you would wear those. Do you ever put them on anymore? Your gingerbread house turned out cute. By the way, we got your christmas card...so cute! You have such a beautiful family.
