With our little girly making her appearance in nearly 7 weeks, I've been itching to get a few things ready for her. I started by convincing Ben to put her crib up, which is temporarily located in our bedroom. It makes it feel more real, when I can look over and see her crib all ready and waiting. (Not that her hyperactivity hasn't made it feel real...she is WAY more active than my other two).
Next was picking up a new car seat. We got rid of our previous one, so I got to pick out a new one. But, to tell you the truth I was a little disappointed by the selection of car seats out there. I figured in the 4 years since I'd picked one out last, there would be big improvements in pattern options (b/c let's be honest, that's the most important thing, right?) Anyways, I ended up picking this one, simple and can work for a girl now and a boy, if we have one, later. 
So bring on this baby! Well, maybe not this early...but I'm certainly starting to feel more ready.

Very fun! I know this time around I am driving Shane nuts because I am prepping SUPER early. That's because M1 came 8 weeks early and we weren't ready with anything for him. Good luck and I love your baby bedding!
I'm with ya. It really helps to see a crib up, newborn car seat around....just something to prove that the misery of pregnancy will indeed end and that you'll get a cute little bundle out of it all!
Where did you get her bedding, and how much was it? It is so cute!!!
BTW, I HAVE seen the headbands on bigger girls! VERY CUTE....especially when their hair is up.
It's from Target...I'd seen it many times, and couldn't pass it up b/c it goes well with Maddie's bedding/room colors, which is where she will sleep when she gets a little older.
Isn't it exciting! I've felt like I haven't had anything to prep this time around. We never took the crib down (cuz yes Brynlee still takes her naps in it! crap what am I going to do about that!) But I did finally wash all the baby clothes and get the car seat in the car...but for some reason it still hasn't hit me that we'll have a baby in 4 days or less (I'm being induced on Sunday if I haven't had her by then) Wow 4 days...I think maybe it just hit me! what cute bedding! Yeah, we got a new carseat this time too, and the gender neutral ones really weren't any better than my old one. I like that one you got.
