the Office.

You may not fully appreciate the following post, unless you are a fan of 'The Office'.
So, yesterday we took a trip to Scranton, PA to take a look at a car. Why would we drive 3 hours to look at a car, you may ask? Well, it was a great deal & it also happens to be the home of Michael Scott and Dwight K. Scrute. Yes, we did end up purchasing the car (fyi-we needed a 2nd for Ben to take on far away sites for school). So, we cruised into town, listening to FROGGY 101 (which is a country station in case you were curious)...but were unable to locate the official "Welcome to Scranton" sign). Instead, I snapped a shot of a random street sign, that read-Scranton.
(can you even read it? it's so far away!)
While secretly hoping to spot Pam & Jim taking a stroll, I decided snap a shot of the buildings, which reminded me of the opening credits...
We then drove around for a few, trying to find the outside of 'The Office' building, but couldn't find it. Darn car salesman probably lied to us, just so we'd buy the car!
I wanted to eat at Chili's, just as Michael would have done. However, there is NO Chili's in Scranton!! You're shocked, I know. Instead we opted for a FIVE GUYS burger & fries. And ran into this sign...

I guess it was meant to be that we ate there instead (those of you who don't know--Ben is from Rexburg, ID).

Anyhow, fun day.

This is where my camera battery died. Good thing I got those precious pictures before it did.

Ahhh I freaking LOVE the office! Good work Cinders. Love the pictures and how funny that those potatoes were from Rexburg, ID! Did you ask the waitress if she knew where exactly Rexburg was? Anyway thanks for the pictures that made my night.

FUN LITTLE TRIP!!!!
You are lucky that you got some great shots before the batteries died. Good work.
It's only a bummer that the town didn't COMPLETELY live up to what you had hoped for! Oh well, better than nothing. :o)
