We've decided to try & make the most of our time on the East coast and do a few things we've been wanting to do. First, we headed to Niagara Falls for a little fun. Can you say R-A-I-N! That was the official word for our trip. It was pouring most of the time we were there, which made things a little more interesting. But, we had a good time despite the weather. Our little troopers...
Good thing we were supplied with HUGE ponchos for the Maid of the Mist. We couldn't tell what was from the waterfall and what was the rain.
that's our baby, named hazel, which appears to be a bag of binkies in these poncho pictures.
pretty cute, i know.
riding the trolley to the aquarium to see the sea animals and seal show.
Next stop on our trip was to Palmyra, NY to see the Hill Cumorah Pageant. What an amazing show and experience. Unfortunately, we got poured on halfway through, so they had to stop the show. Maybe we'll get to go back next year to catch the full show! I hear we missed out on a lot!
Joseph Smith's log home

the Palmyra temple

The sacred grove--an amazing place. I felt the spirit so strong, as we walked through the forest. It was so quiet and peaceful. My testimony that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God was confirmed and strengthened while we walked through this sacred place.

What a great trip! I hope we can get up to see the hill cumorah pageant while we're in the east. Hopefully we'll get to see the whole thing :).
Fun trip! LOVE the blue ponchos. I think I may need to get one, they looked so cute on you ;)
I just saw Maddie's shirt with the sea horse at Target a few hours ago. I was thinking it was pretty cute.
We need to do a Niagra Falls/Palmyra trip sometime. Looks like fun!
That looks like so much fun. I need to add this to my list of must do vacations.
Looks like a great trip, even with the rain!
Your trip looks like so much fun. I love church history sites! By the way, your baby in the poncho is so cute! Love it!
I loved visiting those sites when I lived out there. We went to all those places. Its funny that each time we went to the Falls it rained. So, ponchos are always necessary. I am so glad you had fun!!
Looks like you had a wonderful time! I love the poncho pictures. :) I hope you're able to see the whole show next time. :)
I love Palmyra, but I haven't seen the pageant. I'll have to work on Reed a bit to see that one.
Sounds like a lot of fun! I love baggie Hazel, way cute!
I've been to those places, but Greg hasn't so I can't wait to take him and our kids!
Haha I love the poncho pictures! What a fun vacation. I would love to do a church history trip with Joe sometime.
so fun! I am so jealous of all the church history stuff! My play director is one of the directors for the pageant and I want to see it so bad! You guys looked cute in the ponchos too. You make anything look cute Cindy!
PS I got my bows and I LOVE them! I've already received a ton of compliments, so I brag about you too!
Hey Blondie! What a fun trip, we had so much fun living so close to the pageant, it's a good thing you are taking advantage of it.
That poncho on hazel is hilarious, It looks like you stuck her in a shopping back, and tied it all up around her face!
looks like a great trip. a couple of things...

-i love the first pic of you guys in your ponchos... maddie and cam look THRILLED to be there!
