Tagged!

Yikes, I have been tagged twice...so I guess I've gotta comply. Here it goes:

5 things I was doing 10 years ago:

1-Going to a LOT of Stake Dances, I loved those things!
2-Starting my sophomore year at a new high school :( It was a pretty sad time for me, having to leave all of my friends and start over at a new high school b/c they built a new one.
3-Wanting to date & drive.
4-Playing volleyball on our high school team.
5-Working at Sports Authority as a cashier/customer service specialist (don't you love the long titles they give people to make them sound special?)

5 things on my "To Do" list today

1-Story time at the library
2-Give our kitchen floor a good cleaning, an ongoing thing really...does anyone else feel like all they do everyday is clean their kitchen floor and counter top because of their messy children?
3-Put away my kids clothes that are too small and organize them in the closet.
4-Laundry
5-Start a new book...I want to get my hands on "Twilight." Anyone have a copy I can borrow?

5 songs I know the lyrics to:

I think I'm one of those people that likes to sing along, but doesn't know the "real" words to any songs...
1-"I am a Child of God"- This one gets sung a lot in our house....it's Maddie's favorite.
2-"A Wheem a whep"-or whatever that song is...the oldies one. Actually I think I know a ton of Oldies, from listening to them in the car growing up...I just can't remember the names of them!
3-I'm having a really hard time coming up with any...maybe "Banana pancakes"-Jack Johnson.
4-"Because You Loved Me"-Celine Dion
5-"You had a bad day"-Daniel Powter (doesn't everyone, that song was way overplayed)

5 things I would do if I had a million dollars:

Besides the obvious things like paying tithing, paying off student loans, and putting some away for the rest of Ben's schooling...here are the fun things:
1-Buy a house!
2-Buy some furniture/decorations to put in our new house!
3-Buy a nice, expensive camera.
4-Buy some sort of SUV to fit our growing family in...when the time gets closer, I'll know what kind I actually want.
5-Buy my kids some new fall clothes, and some for myself, and Ben I suppose.

5 things I'll never wear again:

1-Scrunchies (I agree Mitzi)...I think I used to have one to match every outfit, now that I think about it, they were hideous!
2-Tapered jeans with zippers & or large bows at the ankles
3-Overalls, I'm pretty sure I am over them.
4-Any florescent color.
5-A side ponytail at the top of my head.

5 favorite toys:

I think this is probably a better question for my hubby, but I'll try to think of some "toys"

1-Our computer, how else would I do my blog? And our camera.
2-Anything that excites my children and keeps them happy for long periods of time
3-Are clothes and accessories toys? (Purses, shoes, jewelry??)
4-My double jogging stroller that I got from a garage sale! Now I won't have to put my children in danger by flipping them over street curbs in our regular double stroller!
5-Our Jeep. Really it's Ben's favorite toy...but I do kinda feel cool when I drive it.

5 people who are "tagged"

1-Kimmy, better start your blog so you can join the fun!
2-Kate L.
3-Adge L.
4-Ashley L.
5-Jessica T.

Ok I have to agree that I feel like I clean the kitchen floor and counter tops every day, but its not because I have messy three year old (well not yet). Its because I have a messy husband that acts like a three year old. Fun post!

I completely agree with you about wearing scrunchies and tapered pants and zip at the bottom. I thought they were way too cool when i wore them with 3 different pairs of matching socks each rolled at just the right height. And then topped with the same two or three colored scrunchies in my hair...i don't know why we did that one.

Great post!

What do you mean WANTING to date... from what I hear you already were dating then. He he!

I do agree with the floors and counters thing. I wish I could afford to pay someone to come in DAILY just to do my floors. I hate it!

Overalls, yeah I totally forgot about them. I think I'm over them too. Thanks for responding to the tag!

Okay i have not idea what being tagged means, but i know you are not over the overalls. Mark my words, when they come back in, you will have them. You loved them too much to let them go forever!
