Ok, so you know that song by Nickelback about being a big rock star...well a few weeks ago Maddie started singing "we all wanna be big rock stars, living in 15 cars". At first I wasn't sure I was hearing her correctly, but she has been singing it quite often, switching back and forth between it and "I am a Child of God". Apparently she has been paying attention to the lyrics of that song, which kinda scares me seeing as though it also talks about "having a drug dealer on speed dial" and "staying skinny, cuz we just don't eat". Luckily she has not chosen to sing those verses as well! But my little girl is growing up and I am suddenly aware of what a filthy world we live in and I'm not wanting to expose her to it! I'm guessing she picked it up from when we were on the boat in Lake Powell. Guess we'll have to be more careful next time!

Hey Cindy! I have two blogs that I read and I'm so glad you're doing one! I need to make one too. Did it take long? Daddy told me he liked the 101 things about you and that he learned some things he didn't know!!!
kinda makes me wonder what he learned...hopefully nothing i'd be embarrassed about.

I'm not sure if you remember me, but I stumbled across your blog through Mark and Jessica. We were in the same ward at Wymount. Anyway, I was excited to see you have a blog and to catch up with what you guys have been doing. It looks like life is good. I can't believe your daughter is THREE?! She is such a cutie. Maybe we'll see you guys at Mark and Jessica's on Saturday.
