Ben asked what I wanted for our anniversary and I told him I wanted to look at beds for Maddie, which I've actually been wanting to do for awhile. With school ahead and no income, I figure now is the time. So, he appeased me and we spent most of that day looking. Then that night we got a babysitter and decided to try somewhere new for dinner and ended up eating at a Teppanyaki Restaurant (where they cook the food in front of you). It was pretty good and very entertaining. Those of you who are Office fans may remember a specific episode where they went out to eat at this type of restaurant. I was giggling when we walked in, remembering this particular scene in the show. We tried to recite some lines from the show, but neither of us is good at doing that. It was fun to try though. It's also nice to both enjoy the same show and it makes us laugh. Afterwards we went to a movie. It was a great day.

Her bed was all out of stock and so I think we'll be ordering it soon. But today I spent the day getting it all put together and everything switched around. Here Maddie is enjoying her big girl bed...well mattress and fixings at least.

She asked if I had a rose she could pose with after I took this picture--where does she come up with this stuff??

Camden, in turn, received Maddie's toddler bed, which I was a little hesitant about. He just sleeps so well in his crib, but what they hey! Back when we switched Maddie into this bed (shortly before Cam was born), it was a bit of an adjustment for her, getting out of bed and crying....But tonight when I told Camden it was time for bed he got a big grin on his face and practically ran there. As of yet he hasn't made a peep. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Kind of an expensive anniversary...it all adds up so quickly-bed, mattress, box spring, sheets, sham, bed skirt, pillows, blankets, mattress cover, pillow cover...the list is never ending. Ben thinks I am more excited about it all than they are. I beg to differ. Thanks honey!
